This is fun. I worked at Scherer Gallery in Sedona Arizona in 1998. One of the kaleidoscopes artists that we featured The Sea Parrot. I purchased one before leaving the store and moving back to Utah. It is signed Rioux 1998-324. I bought it, at the store discount price, because it reminded me of the time machine from the 1950's movie. Mine is triangular, three sided and has a gradual incline toward the eyepiece. I just noticed today that there is one actually called "The Time Machine" made by Rioux. It is flatter and has 4 sides to it. I often wonder if the owner Marty Scherer told the Rioux's of the name I gave mine. I sill have it and love it very much. It is a treasure.
